With the explosion of lily cultivars and the need to accurately control flowering date to meet market demands, we initiated a research project to develop user friendly tools to help forcers monitor, control, and time the moment of flowering for a wide range of hybrid lilies. This program is ongoing and as of spring 2016, more than 50 cultivars of Asiatic, LA, oriental and OT-hybrid lilies have been evaluated.
